Short answer: yes. You're not stuck with us.
If you decide to cancel, you get a copy of your website. The text, the photos, the layout — all of it.
How to get your site:
Step 1 — Send a message
Open the support chat, pick "Other," and ask for a "Site export."
Step 2 — We send you a folder
Within a few days we send you a download link. Inside is a folder with all your website files.
Step 3 — Put it somewhere
You give that folder to whoever's hosting your site next. They put it online for you. Your domain stays the same — it just points at the new host instead of us.
What we DON'T send:
- The fancy editor / dashboard you've been using to manage your site. That's our software, not yours. (Like how a Squarespace site is yours, but the Squarespace EDITOR isn't.)
- Future updates we make to our system after you leave.
Your domain (yourbusiness.com)? That's yours forever, no matter what. You bought it, you own it, you control where it points. We can't take it from you even if we tried.
Other option: keep things on Vercel If you want to keep using the same modern hosting we use, we can transfer the project to your own free Vercel account. Takes about 5 minutes. You then control it directly. Just ask in your export request.
Bottom line: you're never trapped. We earn your business every month.
