Your site is built and online. Your domain just doesn’t point at it yet. Two short records fix that.
IMPORTANT — never send us your password
Not in a ticket, not by email, not in a text. Whoever controls your domain controls your website and your email. We will never ask you for it.
Already sent it to someone? Go and change it now, and switch on two-factor if you can. Then carry on below.
WAY 1 — Use the Domain page in your portal (easiest)
- Sign in at /client/login
- Open "Domain" and pick "I already own an address"
- Type your address. The page shows the exact two records to add, with directions for the company your domain is with
- Add them, then press "Check my address now"
You can close the page after that. We keep checking on our own and connect it the moment it is ready, secure padlock included.
Stuck halfway? Send a request from "Requests" and ask for a screen share. We’ll do it live while you drive.
Some registrars — GoDaddy is the common one — let you invite us as a "delegate" with no password shared. If yours does, invite us and we’ll do the whole thing. That is the only kind of access we accept.
WAY 2 — Do it yourself
Sign in wherever you bought the domain. Look for a button saying "DNS", "DNS settings" or "Manage domain". You’ll see a list of records. Add these two.
Record 1
- Type: A
- Name (or Host): @
- Value (or Points to): 76.76.21.21
Record 2
- Type: CNAME
- Name (or Host): www
- Value (or Points to): cname.vercel-dns.com
Using Cloudflare? Set both records to "DNS only" (the grey cloud).
Then save Wait 5 to 30 minutes and type your domain into a browser. Your site should appear. Up to 24 hours is still normal, so don’t panic on hour two.
You don’t need to do anything about https, SSL or a security certificate. That is automatic.
Can’t find the DNS section, or seeing warnings you don’t like? Stop. Take a screenshot and send it from "Requests" in your portal. We’ll point at the exact button — or just do it for you.
